I have been doing a considerable amount of thinking while following up on those posts with Hardware Freek.

I have decided that I am no longer going to do this. It is no longer enjoyable, I no longer have time for it and I need to spend more of my time looking after my own interests instead of spending too much of my time like I have for years, doing this. It used to be because I enjoyed it, but lately it feels purely obligational. Since I no longer get anything out of it (I get paid only in aggravation) it's time for me to stop.

So to those of you with nothing better to do than quote rules and complain if everything said to you isn't sugar coated... enjoy those rules. For I indeed have far more significant things to be doing than "roaming this forum to play the schoolground bully" to quote someone in another thread. It seems I'm doing nothing but causing problems around here lately, which is the last thing I want to do.

To many others, it's been nice knowing you. I really mean that. I will miss all of my friends here. I'll probably drop in again from time to time, but for now, farewell.

To Hardware Freek exclusively: I receive those Administrative Alerts you sent out to the Webmaster regarding mine and Ropera's behaviour, also. You are small minded and have earned my utter contempt. Don't bother to reply, because I won't be coming back any time soon to read this. I wash my hands of you.

I realize you must be pretty fed up to let some wussy like that run you off, so I am guessing you just need a break. Take your time, have some fun and relax. Then maybe come back.

I'm sorry you feel that way, I'm not pushing you out but only ask that you show some respect for others, I have no hard feelings about this. What I will say is that you will be missed but it's your decision at the end of the day.

I remember a time when I considered leaving this place, and Grogan was one of the ones who convinced me to stay. I really wish I would have saved his words, but I do know that he spoke up and considering that my decision was over an issue I had with Grogan, I was rather humbled.

So heres what I have to say..

Grogan, I rarely read half your posts. I find most of them abrasive as hell, and you do get on my nerves with your foul mouth and "screw you" attitude.

But this is a computer forum. A place where we come for help.

The one thing nobody here can disagree with is that Grogan knows his stuff. Your knowledge is nothing short of amazing, and many times I have witnessed you coming to the aid of those in need and manage to not only solve their pc issues, but go the extra mile and help them to prevent future issues.

I thought that this was what PC911 was supposed to be about.

I really do hope you reconsider your decision because frankly, it just doesnt matter what I or anyone thinks about you as a person: what matters is that when I come to PC911 for pc help that I get it.

In the past few months we have almost lost Shelly, Marti and a few others.
I rarely see anything from several of those who used to be pillars in this forum, and now, they are gone.


Cmon people.. lets figure out a way to get this place back in order, before all the moderators decide to go.


And Grogan.. I wont beg, but I have always counted on your wisdom.

Just take the other hand and slap em....i remember once you said to me.."im tired of your shit too vitalt"...and i learned theres a time to keep my big mouth shut.Not long after that you helped me with a problem i had...no grudge was there...i apreciate it.Shelly almost left.Scotterpops,ed,Casca,and many others are not posting anymore or if they do rarely at all.The snide remarks,the insults and harsh words said in the heat of discussion just dont seem to be forgiven by people anymore.Its sad to think that the most knowledgeable people on this forum are slowly being irritated to the point of leaving by petty arguments and the viciousness of others.
Maybe "have tolerance and respact of others" should be words that are included in the rules.Most things said or done to us do not have to be forgotten but should be forgiven.This is Just a little of what ive learned here from PC911...I hope you change your mind.

Hardware Freak, We are now loosing one of the most helpful people in this forum. So do you think you know ANYTHING that might be useful to us? Get a life! Grogan has always bent over backwards to help people. I have learned bunches from him. You just take up space.
I won't be subscribing to this post. So just go for it. This is the internet and just because you can get online doesn't really mean you should be. I come here to learn. Not to read threads chastising for bad language or whatever you think is improper behavior.

I totally agree with you Maggie, and i have read some of HF's so caled "knowledge" if he was half as smart as he thinks he is he would keep his damn mouth shut. Grogan is one of THE most knowledgeable people in this forum, and i could care less if he helps me fix some weird problem i have by tellin me to fix the f'in thing, or any other words he so chooses to use. The key is he DOES help us ALL fix problems and that is THE most important thing here. HF, grow the hell up, or start your own forum, i can see it now, RomperRoomComputerForum, gotta love it. You're right, you're not pushing Gro out. You're just the last piece of BS to be heaped on my friend. But let me tell you something very clearly. Grogan is worth 100 of you. There are some people who can learn that respect can be held inside disagreements (Hi Nomad), and others who can only see the surface and think they see the whole. You fall in the later category, along with a number of other recent additions to this forum who seem to be mentally unbalanced. If you thought Grogan was rude and abrasive? You haven't had a professional work at it yet. But you will.
