"I can't hear you."


          

Last 2 times I have woken my desktop computer from sleep the speakers have not worked. I go to sound in windows run a test and then switch which sound my speakers are on. I have 2 monitors. Any ideas what is causing it?

I would first suggest ensuring that your sound device is using the manufacturer`s latest driver and not one supplied by Windows Update.

By Sleep, are you possibly referring to Hibernate mode. If so, I would also suggest turning Hibernate off and seeing if the problem goes away. Hibernate mode has often been known to cause issues upon awakening.
