An old friend took an anti-tank round in the pelvis during his tour in Nam (U.S. Marines). He had only a sliver of bladder material left along with a ton of other problems. The bladder is the only organ in the human body capable of rebuilding itself. In time, his bladder returned to its "normal" state. That guy is the heaviest beer guzzler I've ever known---surely evidence that his bladder must be a real tank.
