Just lucky I guess.
Scientists decided to try an experiment years ago. One given for the experiment is that a piece of buttered bread lands buttered side down. The other given is that if a cat falls, it always lands on it's feet.
So they decided to tie a piece of buttered bread on the back of a cat.
The cat was launched from the top of a step ladder. It instantly flipped over so that it's feet were down in landing position, but then the buttered side of the bread caused the cat to continue to flip a full circle so that the butter was facing the floor. The process repeated at an accelerating rate causing the cat to stop falling and hover about a foot off of the floor, while spinning dervishly.
They are still trying to figure out a way to apply this in a flying machine. One problem is keeping the cat in one piece because the fur really flies.
Can you come up with a suggestion for the scientists?

LOL Sorry I had forgotten. I have a good use for a buttered cat. Gives the dog good exercise chasing him because the cat is to slippery to hold on to when the dog catches him.

Anybody know why MS decided to name their web browser Internet Explorer so that the acronym (IE) is like the sound a user squeals when the browser crashes?
Well, you see, there's the watch and the clock in your question. When you watch the clock, you wind up reducing the clock to the smaller form factor of the watch, thereby slowing it down.
Keeping and eye on the clock doesn't do that.
What are doing when you say "Time's fun when you're having flies"?
I guess they need time off too but it sure makes me mad when I you want mail on Sunday and can't wait until Monday... Hey ya never know there may be a big surprise coming in the mail for you someday....
