I don't get that channel. Kinda ironic finding this post, I'm currently watching TV while posting here on my old P166 (aka Murphy) which has an All-in-Wonder Pro card in it. This old Murph still runs just as good as when he was last upgraded 4 years back, so I hang onto him
Yes I love to travel and have been very fortunate to get to do so.. *smiles* London, Ireland, Cayman Islands, Italy a Caribbean cruise just to name a few and each place was more lovelier then the next.

I used to view the threads like that. It works just fine for threads like this where each person posts in sequence. But it does not work well for other threads. I noticed that when I view in linear mode on the other threads if someone posts to a poster "Out of sequence" like when it says "in reply to post #XX" and post "XX is on a page other than the last--well then that reply/post doesn't show up in the view in linear mode. (I know the page then shows that it hasn't been read--but you still have to find the new /unread post on that page) I think this is why often times you see replies/posts to people that are never answered. Of course if you click on the "Read New" option each time I guess that might handle that, except that option doesn't always bring up the post that is being replied to and you have to wonder what it is all about.
You see I am nosey and prefer to see all the posts I have not read so that is why I "View In Threaded Mode" so I can spot the out of sequence posts. The posts that I have read are colored differently that way. HMMM just me here pondering what to do--Which is the best way to read this board? See you at the new TPBM thread.

I often switch views when on dialup. For instance, in the Post your Desktops threads, I'll switch to Linear mode so that I don't have to load up graphics that I've ready seen. In threads without heavy graphics, I leave it in threaded mode.
