:clap: That's great, I forgot how funny cats can be. My 15 year old cat died 2 years ago. I never replaced him because after he was gone I realised how much he affected my allergies.

Great video but it took me 30 minutes to view it with all the buffering I get on my slow dial up. How can I download it to my hard drive like Whipit did? The one with the cat climbing up the leg of the woman at the sink could have been taken at my house.

Right-click on it and select "Save as". Doctormidnight's mirror should be faster, so try that if you're on a slow connection.

I tried that but save as is grayed out. Could be because I'm still using WM 6.4, OS98SE, IE5.5sp2?

It's grayed out? That's odd. Try going to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs, selecting Microsoft Internet Explorer, clicking "Add/Remove" and selecting "Repair the current installation of Internet Explore" when it prompts you.

That didn't work. When I checked the properties of the video it says that codec series 9 is needed. Does that mean I need to download a new windows media? This forum is supposed be off topic so sorry I turned it into a help forum.

Do you have the content advisor enabled? If so, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Content, select "Disable" underneath "Content Advisor", enter your password at the box, and press OK.

Content advisor is not in use. I have saved video's before but they were sent thru email and did not have the .wmv extension. I checked file types and it is registered to Windows Media Player2. I have downloaded WM 9 and will wait a couple of days to install. Like to check out to see if anyone is having problems. In the meantime I have bookmarked the funny cat video. Thanks, Jean

Well, I finally got funny cat video saved to my hard drive.
Something changed on Dr Midnight's site and it downloaded before it opened and I was able to click on save as. Still couldn't on the first site.

It played OK for me on WM9.One way that works is to copy and paste the address to the clipboard and Email it to yourself.Just tried it to be sure.Works fine

hehe, I just looked at my stats.. in the last 5 days, I've used 720MB of bandwidth, most of it from the kitty cats. Oh well, bandwidth was just gonna be sitting idle anyway
