I saw that and really enjoyed it.

Paul actually looked like he was having a great time, as did Corden.

The pub patrons certainly were surprised when the curtains were pulled back. They'll never forget that afternoon.

The patrons certainly won't forget that afternoon. As Paul said "it's the power of music". I mainly enjoyed a break from all the strife in the world today with a trip down memory lane when life was simpler.

True, it was a trip down memory lane, but life was not simpler.

Far from it. The Vietnam war, Cuban missile crisis aftermath, the Berlin wall, racial inequality/riots, crime, space race, the economy, shoddy automobiles, unsafe at most any speed, gas guzzling, and polluting, and so much more made life as complicated or more so than it is today.

Perhaps the difference is we didn't have near instantaneous communication. We had to wait for Walter to tell us how it was.
