"Well, the third USA Presidential debate is now over."

Well, with 3 USA Presidential debates over with, along with what seems like a couple of years of heated campaigning, are there any in the USA that are still undecided regarding a very important vote? It's 20 days and counting...

Trust me, you aren't the only one. I can't believe that this was the best offering for the job. However, it is a pretty thankless job, and very demanding. Maybe one needs to be a bit crazy to even contemplate it.

Trump dug himself an even deeper hole, I expect his polls to continue plummeting. His refusal to commit to abide by the results of the election will cost him dearly. He is the least qualified presidential candidate since at least the Civil War, if not the entire 240 years of our existence s as a nation.

Although Hillary is not a perfect candidate, she is by far the best viable choice.

I completely agree. For me the two worst moments were:

1. Trump refusing to say he'd concede. It's not like the moderator was asking him to concede the race right then and there. He could say "I still think I'm going to win and I'm going to keep appealing to the American people. However, if on November 8th America chooses Hillary Clinton, I would concede the election." With this statement, he would have kept his campaign going (as slim as his chances really are) but would have reassured everyone about the health of our overall democracy.

Trump couldn't do that, though, but said he'd keep us "in suspense" like we're in some TV show starring Donald. America's democracy shouldn't be a reality show.

2. Trump saying that Hillary should be disqualified because of guilt over the e-mail scandal. Now don't get me wrong, what she did was stupid. If someone wants to make the allegation that it was illegal, that's fine. However, she's not guilty of a crime until she's tried and convicted of it. You can't just say "I declare her guilty and therefore she's not allowed to run." That completely does away with due process and replaces it by innocent until accused guilty.

As a side note: Trump loves due process when he's the one being accused. He'll settle out of court and then trot out that he didn't admit guilt. But if his opponent is accused of something, she's automatically guilty.

Like you said, Hillary's far from a perfect candidate. I have some big disagreements with her and, were a sane Republican running I might be voting for him/her instead. But place Hillary against Trump and it's a no brainer. I'll take Flawed Hillary over Narcissistic Wanna-be Dictator Trump any day.

There are still some same Republicans left, but they are an endangered species. They are pressured to either accept and advocate for far right positions or they get replaced with people who will.

My biggest hope is that the GOP splits so the sane Republicans can have their own pay and the crazy right wing can have theirs.

I agree wholeheartedly. I still maintain that the USA would have been better off with Bernie Sanders in the lead. It may not be obvious from inside the country but, from an outsider looking in, it is clear as day.

Hillary stole the election from Sanders.

Earlier this year, WikiLeaks exposed that the Democrat primary was rigged in favor of Hillary Clinton. Leaked DNC emails revealed top DNC officials were supportive of Mrs. Clinton and made sure it was difficult, if not impossible for Senator Bernie Sanders to ever win his party’s nomination.

DNC lawyers have just responded to a class-action lawsuit over their primary being rigged, arguing that maintaining a fair and balanced primary was merely a “political promise.”

The lawyers argued that “Courts have uniformly rejected attempts to litigate on the basis of purported political promises, including ‘statements of principle and intent in the political realm.”

Essentially, the DNC’s promise to remain neutral and fair during the primary is a political promise similar to “policy proposals made in campaign platforms that aren’t fulfilled when in office.”

What’s worse is that the DNC’s lawyers claimed that Bernie Sanders’ supporters were aware that the DNC and chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz were biased against their candidate, an argument that has never been substantiated.

Conveniently, the DNC lawyers are the same ones Hilary used throughout her presidential campaign, so it should come as no surprise that her personal lawyers would be defending the DNC’s favorable treatment of the party’s now-nominee.

The arguments made by the DNC’s lawyers were proven invalid after the WikiLeaks dump of emails resulted in the resignation of Wasserman Schultz and three other top staff members, who were exposed to be working against the Sanders campaign in favor of Clinton. Despite Wasserman Schultz’s disgrace, Clinton immediately hired her and establishment Democrats supported her reelection bid to Congress.

As a Bernie supporter, I definitely would rather have had Bernie up there instead of Hillary. I also think there were some shenanigans that tipped the scales towards Hillary. However, at the end of the day, there are two important points to consider.

One: The primaries aren't really democratic elections of candidates. The parties get to make their own rules. If they wanted to, they could say that the winner of the most votes gets one "super vote" as do each of the party leaders - in effect making it a back door deal. Historically, in fact, party nominations were secret backroom dealing affairs. A bunch of powerful party leaders got into a room, hashed out who they wanted, and that person was offered the nomination. No voting for the nominee at all. So it's not really a criminal endeavor if the Democratic party's rules don't fully go by who got the most votes.

Two: Bernie accepted the outcome. He's fully accepted that Hillary is the nominee and has campaigned for her. So saying "he should have been the nominee" might make for an interesting intellectual exercise (e.g. How much differently would the debates have gone if they were Bernie vs. Trump), it's all hypothetical and all but a handful of Bernie supporters have moved forward.

In view of everything Trump has espoused in his campaign I am convinced that if trump were elected it would be the last free election for the United States. Trump would effectively create a dictatorship.

It’s About What You Learn

These days, the highly educated tend to be liberal. A Pew Research center study showed this growing connection among those with graduate degrees. Some readers said it had to do with what you learn at college: You become “educated.”

When I started university, I was taken aback by how much I didn’t know. It was exhilarating. Postsecondary education develops intangibles like the ability to think critically, and I think this explains why non-college-educated audiences are so vulnerable to exploitation by a Pied Piper like Trump.

And it's also a big reason why much of the far-right views education as "liberal indoctrination" and lauds the virtues of being uneducated. They have Views X, Y, and Z but education reveals facts which disprove these views. They could either admit that their views were wrong or proclaim the facts biased and rail about the "educated elite." I'll give one guess which one they do.

Donna Brazile was a CNN political analyst and serves as the interim chairperson of the Democratic National Committee in the wake of the Wasserman-Schultz debacle. In light of the fact that she has been busted unfairly giving Clinton questions ahead of her “impromptu” Town Hall meetings, CNN has decided to part ways with Brazile.

“We are completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor,” Lauren Pratapas, a network spokeswoman, said in a statement.
