"How to stop robo calls"

There's a new cloud based protocol called Nomorobo that can interrupt and prevent most robo calls.

http://www.nomorobo.com/dashboard

Unfortunately I cannot utilize this service through Comcast/Xfinity as it requires Voice 2go per the following post at the site listed above, and I don't have and Android or Apple iOS device.

Quote:
Note: At this time, Nomorobo must be activated through Voice 2go, which is currently available only on Android and Apple iOS devices (i.e., tablets, iPod touches, smartphones) via the XFINITY Connect app. However, Comcast is evaluating additional ways for their customers to activate Nomorobo in the near future.

I'm looking forward to being able to activate Nomorobo via my landline service.

Is that still the case?

Even the above link, page 2, seems to indicate that you can do it now.

And at least (today) I was allowed to sign up.
Haven't put my number in ... yet?

They sure don't provide you much information.
