"Teen unlocks iPhone"

So you think you're smart? Check out this 17-yr old kid who took a crack at his iPhone.

Teen \'unlocks\' iPhone from AT&T network.

His blog is getting a ton of hits. You can read the entire process it took here. Shelly should have a field day with this considering his electrical engineering background.

I hate cell phones with a passion! I even hate regular phones. I have long held that Alexander Graham Bell should have been convicted of crimes against humanity

GSM coding is the final straw! Any phone company using it should have its entire senior management drawn and quartered. It causes hellish interference in nearby microphones. I had to redesign my entire microphone line, as did every other microphone manufacturer, to filter out the damned noise. They should all burn in hell!

Doesn't pay to have a $600 brick. I really feel sorry for those who paid MEGA dollars on eBay for an unlocked iPhone.

No sympathy.

Drag up a thread over a month old just to talk about how Apple has cracked down on users who are using a hacked iPhone. Yeah like that's a big surprise. Apple is trying to build a monopoly in that market with their new product - is it any surprise they're taking measures to ensure their market dominance?

Should I have asked your permission first before posting an update to a thread? I apologize.

Is there any need to be insulting?

Its a valid update to this thread, hopefully it will warn anyone thinking of cracking their iPhone to think carefully....
