What's the expert opinion on using uninstaller software, instead of the control panel, to remove programs, in W10? I've been using Revo Uninstaller, for years with no issues.
If the particular piece of software needs a "special" uninstaller, then you should not be using that software , IMHO.
(I would hope that long are the days that a program left all kinds of trash behind on uninstall. But... then... there does still exist, er, Windows 10 & Chrome...)

I don't think the programs need a "special" uninstaller, but regular control panel uninstalls, leave a lot of leftover files. I'm just wondering if an uninstaller, is a good idea. As I mentioned, Revo Uninstaller has worked perfectly for me, but if it's a waste of time, I'll quit it.
Judging by my experience with Revo, that would leave you with pretty well no software installed at all. I don't recall Revo ever finding no trash t5o remove.

I don't get it. All it does, is more completely remove, only the undesired program. I've never seen it damage any other software or program, that wasn't targeted.
