"Losing sound"
Tue Aug-13-19 05:54 AM by bobbo

I keep losing sound on my desktop computer. Restarting restores the sound, only to have it quit after a while. I thought that it might be the result of virus scans, but after running scans, the speakers work. The speakers are identified in Control Panel as Realtech high definition audio default device.

When you've lost it, check Device Manger for Exclamations or whatever.

Maybe there's a driver update?

What Steven said. Also try another set of speakers if you can and see if your motherboard is due for a BIOS update.

Thanks for your response. I believe I have it fixes via control panel adjustments.
