"Network Not Seeing Device"

Wired audio player device (HD) does not appear on my pc Networks. It has been visible and accessible for file sharing prior- then one day it wasn't.
Both device and pc appear to be on same network.
It is listed as an Attached Device:Wired on my WNDR4000 NetGear router.
I see other items on my Network such as printers, ROKU and a DVD player plugged into the same junction box (expanding number of Ethernet wires).
The device is controllable by an iPAD via wireless through a network - not wireless directly (device does not allow wireless control).
Any suggestions or direction to pursue an answer?
Thx
Lee

That's a pricey little device. I'm not sure I understand the situation. Is it that your PC cannot see the device, but your iPad can? Or is it that neither the PC nor the iPad can see it?

Have you tried power cycling the Aurender off and back on?

Behind every good computer... is a jumble of wires 'n stuff.
