"Image Backup"
Sat Nov-04-17 06:15 PM by pav78

I have just purchased a ThinkPad P71 Laptop and would like suggestions for Image Backup products. The PC has a 256gb SSD primary drive and a1tb secondary HD. I want to backup images of the SSD on the Secondary Drive.
Also,I would need to be able to create a emergency Boot Disk or Bootable USB Thumb Drive. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

That is a good one. I prefer Aomei Backupper free. Does the same, but seems to be more straightforward. I've used them both with great success, but find Backupper more intuitive.

Wow, that sounds good, a lot faster than mine although I'm writing to an external HD using USB2.

Aomei Backupper will also let you create a rescue disk as does Reflect. Used both programs with great success.

I did create a Backup Rescue USB Thumb Drive with Maricum and tested it by successfully booting into the recovery environment on my laptop.
