"Redirect notice......how do I get rid of it?"
Fri Oct-13-17 12:25 AM by jea

This has started just recently. When I click on a link in
Google News, I get ...Redirect Notice "The previous page is sending you to (link), If you do not want to visit that page you can return to the previous page" Using Firefox latest version. Seems to be a google thing since it doesn't happen with other pages.
Thanks.

Also mentioned here:

"Firefox prevented page from redirecting to another page"

(Are you bMonaLisa?)

I looked the other day, but was unable to generate any redirect notice?
What particular steps do you take that causes it?

Any change if you restart in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode?
Any change if you load (URL) in a Private Window?

Thanks therube, No I'm not monalisa.
It only happens with Google site. When I click a link I get the redirect notice.
Haven't made any changes, use Firefox, private browsing. after searching for some answers, others with the same problem have said it goes back to normal in a few days

I read the Mozilla forum site you posted.I had already looked at the autorefresh option and it was set to false. I tried the old preferences hack (wish Firefox would keep it!) but when I clicked the google site, Firefox prevented the page from automatically redirecting and if I choose "allow", it just shows the redirect notice.

found out the easiest workaround is right-click the url and "open link in new private window"......
thanks for your help.
