I had no internet access this morning, but after I rebooted my Firehawk router & modem & restarted my tablet (MS Surface Pro) it started working fine.
My Kindle Fire HD also connects fine.
My WIfe's Acer LT will not connect now. It claims there are available wireless connections & it has a solid connection to one of them, but it won't connect online.
It's weird, I rebooted the computer (about 100 times LOL)
It shows all the connections for the router & connects instantly.
My Surface had no i-net also, but restarting it fixed it immediately.
I have five computers on my home network & four of the five are working fine, only my wife's LT won't connect (of course it has to be hers)
I have turned the WiFi off & back on -no difference. It still shows a solid connection to the network (and the blutooth works fine) but gmail will not open & the icon says connecting but it just sits there spinning & refuses to open in up.
I've checked the device manager, but everything looks fine there.
Well, I don't know what I did for sure, but it's working again LOL
My wife doesn't care as long as it's working.
I immediately created a new restore point. For some reason there was only one restore point & it was a month ago (& there is plenty of hard drive space)
I do have a ghost image of the system but it's not really current so that was a last case option at this point.
