I'm sure this topic appears somewhere but my searches came up empty. Can anyone give me a step by step process to change UEFI to allow my acer running Windows 10 to boot from usb or dvd? I know how to access UEFI.

This is very much dependent on the BIOS and the options within that BIOS that Acer used for your model. There is a slim chance that Acer may have published info about configuring the BIOS for your model. So if you give us the model, someone MAY be able to find some info on it. Without something like that, it would require someone who can help being able to see the screens and options in your BIOS.

Thank you for your response. I solved my problem by entering UEFI and enabling the F12 boot menu on the start screen.
