"FreeFileSync"
Thu Jun-23-16 10:56 AM by sophie tucker

FreeFileSync is a free Open Source software that helps you synchronize files and synchronize folders for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. It is designed to save your time setting up and running backup jobs while having nice visual feedback along the way.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/freefilesync/

seemed useful if you have a need of something like that.

While it is "free" (I use it), do note that the installer does come bundled with "stuff", so just be aware:

MBAM found a .pup file from open candy in the program. Runs fine without it. Says new version available

Program does what it says.
