Thunderbird also updated to 14.0.

My computer downloaded it when I booted up this morning.
Man they really update this thing a lot. and it must
be a real task to make sure all the old plug ins and so forth
are compatible with the new version.

Not their problem. That's up to the Addon developers.

Beside which, in most cases all that's involved for them is updating the maxver number and seeing if it still works.

And since (I think) ver 10, the default has been changed from incompatible to compatible.

Just now had another instance of "Flash player has stopped working" Thought I had that problem solved with a clean install in last version of Firefox. Wonder if the problem is returning with Firefox update to 14.0.1.

There is also a Beta FF 15.0 available. I'm posting with it now. I've never had any problems with their Beta versions. Just lucky, I guess.
