Ran across this "Free" Periodic Table Program. I know you can get this information on-line but I've never seen a Free program laid-out as good as this one. Would be good for Students to use.

Periodic Table Classic 3.8.1

Screen-shots

It does use up a lot of disk space though, over (100 MB.)

This is pretty nice alright, Thanks! I could have used this many times in the past to clear up some misunderstandings but I'm sure it will come in handy in the future too.

Just glad to point some Software in your direction. Wasn't sure if it would fly here.

Edit: One thing that I've overlooked is there's no Listing in Add/Remove. If you need to Uninstall it, you'll have to use the Programs' own Uninstaller.

Thanks for the program.

There probably aren't more than 5 or 6 new elements since I studied the Periodic Chart in undergraduate Chemistry.

I just read your post so I checked with Revo uninstaller and sure enough it doesn't appear there but it does have its own uninstaller so it shouldn't be a problem if the time comes but I think I will be keeping it for awhile and passing the link on to others.

Five or six new elements in a century is a reasonable accomplishment.

Has anyone succeeded in downloading this program into W7 64bit?

I had no problem downloading it at work into XP, but the download fails here at home. Does not matter if I try to download the .exe installer or the zipped version.

I downloaded and installed the standard program into W7 64 bit and it works. A dialog did come up saying it may not install correctly but it then says installed ok.

Edit. Downloaded the zip file later to check if a problem and it downloaded fine. Did not try installing it.
