"Freeware Website"

Another one for Dubber to add to his growing list.

http://www.dirfile.com/

(Perhaps he has it already but it would take me forever to sift through his list and check).

Yes, DirFile has been on my list for quite some time.

An excellent Freeware site.

To very easily search web pages, including mine:

Click Edit in the Toolbar at the top of the browser you are using.

Click Find or Find in this page on the Edit menu.

Type in what you are looking for.

Click on Find Next in Internet Explorer or, if using Firefox, it will find it automatically.

Just takes a few seconds.

Yes I know about the find feature in IE; Firefox, etc. I guess i was just being lazy (Dang! I guess there isn't a freeware site that Dubber hasn't known about yet!).

Thanks, therube.

I added Jackass Joe, Toni, Cobian, Sysinternals, ComponentSoftware, FastStone, Rainy's, Free Software for DOS, and XWorks back to my Freeware Links page.

I couldn't find a Freeware page at Eric's place and Izarc has only one Freeware program.

By way of explanation, to go in my list a website needs to have predominantly Freeware programs or at least a way of separating them out such as they do at Snapfiles. Also, websites listing just one Freeware program don't go on the list.

I welcome anybody's help at any time with my website. I work on it in my spare time and really appreciate any help.

Edit:

therube,

I hope you didn't mind my giving you credit on my page. If so, I'll remove your name.

"I hope you didn't mind"

Nope.

I've been there before, & I'm used to the notoriety, .

//  1.93/2.13/2.06      - Fix screen scrolling with ndir32 on Win9x.
// - The Steven Bensky mod (1) - restore -q listing to
// ndir32 - also, improve it with long filenames
// in both implementations.
