not for Long -- as sometime soon I plan to upgrade to XP (clean install)
But All of a sudden a problem has developed. I leave my machine running all the time and this morning when I went to use my system -- I had a blue screen with an "exception error" on it -- I hit "enter" to continue and more and more exception Errors came--I dont have the exact #'s as Im at work right now but I can get it and post it later for further help
I tried to restart and After the "scan Disk" runs I get the message again and it wont start ME
I also noticed that when Scan Disk poped up it was only checking Drive "C"
nothing else shows up
Usually when Scan Disk runs -- it shows all the other Partitoned Drives as well -- D, E, F besides Drive C
so Im not sure why that would be....
My Question -- How can I get in somehow and Run the "system restore" or get in safe mode or something so I can even get into ME
I dont have a startup disk -- can I somehow boot from the ME CD???
Help -- Im clueless when it comes to tech problems -- everything else Im good with

Use your EBD (Emergency Boot Disk) to boot the thing to a DOS prompt. You'll then be able to use the ScanDisk utility which is on the boot disk to scan all of your partitions. That might get you going to where you can boot to at least Safe Mode.
edit..... I see after reading back through here that you said you don't have a Startup disk. There has been a web site posted here a few times that has boot disks for various functions, you should be able to find what you need there.

My computer is an HP with Windows ME. I recently had probs with loading my Windows as well. Anyways. If you are having a prob what I did is I shut down then turned the puter on again and when my HP window appeared I hit F8 repeatedly this would give the option to boot into safe mode. So um geez I hope this helped lemme know ok?
