"Registry Monitoring Program"
Sat Sep-24-05 05:22 AM by _Chewy_

I came upon a freeware proggie tonight that actively monitors your registry for any changes and gives the user option to accept or reject that change. This is very similar to the feature provided within MS Antispyware and those of you who run it know about the benefits of such a feature.

I think we still have a few die hard members on this forum who are still using Win 9.X. I'm not in any way suggesting this is a substitute for MS Antispyware (or any anti-spyware program for that matter), but this freeware does atleast provide one safeguard against any spyware/ adware program trying to install itself.

I have no need for this as I already run XP with MS Antispyware - but if anyone is interested, you can read all about it here:

Registry Prot.
