"what is "on-the-fly" burning?"

since the search option didn't work all too well, and just gave me all of the non-archived posts as a search result, I decided to post to find my answer. TIA.

i've just read it: is when you copy data from a cd to a cd-rw without storing it on the hd. you need to have both a cd and a cd-rw installed.

On the fly simply means you are copying from one CD to another without making an image file on you hard drive.

I would suggest testing it a few times to make sure your drives are compatable.

It is safer to take it to the hard drive and create an image drive. The hard drive is fast enough and will not cause underrun, whereas some CD rom drives will not extract digital audio fast enough to copy with constant feed.

It is when you have been places you shouldn't have been, with people you shouldn't have been with. It can be treated by seeing a Dr.
