I'll have a look at it.

Edit: I use Themes(Modified Theme), Appearance(Windows Classic Style)

Can't seem to use the various XP options without getting the minimize, maximize, close buttons in colour.

I'm running XP. Why would I want it to look like 2000? I use the XP Style with the Silver theme. I only have four things checked on the Visual Effects tab.

You can use your own colors with the XP Theme. That's what makes it Windows XP (modified). Apperance tab/Advanced button.

I must be dense...when I go to the appearance tab and click on advanced it brings up the classic window for color changes even though I have applied XP color....I would think the XP window should show up...it doesn't on mine....I must still be missing something here....?

I'm never afraid to try new things and new styles, so when I installed XP I immediately used the XP Theme, now very modified as I use several themes downloaded from the internet, currently Iceman's Brushed Blue Jaquar Theme.
http://www.jonmega.com/iceman/vs/

I get a kick out of people who live by the saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" attitude.
I'm always stylin'!

Classic start menu and folder views for me. The XP explorer bar in folder view takes up too much visible space for me. I've also turned off personalized start menu and fading menus etc.
I still like the XP colors, themes, and clear type fonts etc.

Classic looked like 98 to me so I didn't see the point. XP sucked so bad I couldn't believe they'd release it.

So, XP themed and modified. So much stuff turned off I can't remember it all.

Ran single click in 98 and it was a pisser for some time that it's impossible for me to use it in XP (it works, but it doesn't work.)

Classic start menu. XP everywhere else. I just found the XP start menu too crowded for fast navigation. Because I like my desktop with very few icons, nearly all programs are from the start menu.
