I bought a 200 GB Maxtor drive last year and in my last move I must have done something to damage it. Luckily it was still under warranty and Maxtor agreed to replace it free of charge.

When I called Maxtor to inquire why I had not received the replacement drive yet, i was told the 200 GB model was out of stock... today I got a overnight shipment FedEx for a 250 GB! Woot Woot!

Maxtor is pretty good at replacing their hard drive under warranty.
They have replaced one for me.
