hi, another question about video files im afraid. Ive got several video files (.avi) that are just over the size of a CD (about 715mb). Their are areas of blank at the start and end e.t.c that i could get rid of to hopefully reduce them to 700mb or under. Does anyone know of a good effective edit/cut program for .avi? Ive tried using Adaptec Version 5 Platinum which has a video edit program in it but when i try to resave the file after editing it says i dont have enough memory (though its on a 192mb RAM with 5 Gb free hard disk space)! Any help muchly appreciated. Thank you muchly and Merry Christmas

Hi, I cut and pasted this from a reply I made a few days ago,
I dont know good they are but CDR are available up to 800Mb/90-minute capacity. There are also said to 99 minute CDR available. I am assuming you are in the US so dont have any recommendations as to where to look.(in the UK try DABS or Overclockers UK).
Edit - I just checked your profile you are in the UK.
