#0, "Icons in Favorites"

When I began adding sites to my Favorites list, on my new computer, most of them had a distinctive icon beside the name. eBay, for example, had its logo. Yahoo TV had the Yahoo! logo.

Now, for some reason, all the favorites have that stupid blue E beside them.

How'd this happen, and is there a way to get my logos back?

Sally

Well, after reading Shelly's reply about my Favorites icons, I went to my list, went to each site, deleted the "old" one and re-added the "new" one. So now I've got my cutesy little icons back. I just hate looking at all those old blue e's. Heaven knows we have to look at the cotton-pickin' things enough anyway.

Thanks everybody.

I've been wondering about this one for a year.

Thanks for the solution.

::sigh:: Well, I don't know why, but the big blue e's are back. I wonder if Norton Anti-virus is doing something? I haven't done anything. The logos were there Tuesday. They're not there today, Wednesday.

Go back to the thread I listed above. Get the free FavOrg program. The icons changed back because you emptied your temp. internet files, which is where they're stored.

You have to store the favicons in a permanent folder and path the links to that folder.

I didn't empty my Temps folder; that's just it. The icons changed back to the "e" all by themselves. I did nothing. I'll try your suggestion, though. Thanks

Sally
