"Importing contacts in outlook 2000 problem"

Here is the deal: Running W2k at home and work. I exported the contacts list (to a floppy) at work and want to import it at home but i get the warning: The file A:\ backup .pst could not be opened. I'm running W2k on both machines with full administration.
Any ideas? Also can i email the contacts list to my home? How would i do it?

Thanks everybody. Hope you can help.

What version of Outlook are you running on the home machine?
You did NOT state which you are using.

it could be something as simple as a bad floppy. those floppy disks are not a reliable media in my opinion. almost every day i throw away a floppy that went bad for no apparent reason.

assuming you went thru the export to pst file process correctly, try copying the file to another floppy, or simply e-mailing the pst file to yourself.

alternatively, you can also export contacts to a comma or tab delimited text file and import it that way, which should work as well.

Happy computing!
