Well Scotterpops, I think that we, (Americans) are a little more, or maybe alot more <Sensitive> after the Sept. 11th attacks. Which I still cannot believe happened. And true, the USA does not have monopolies on any traits. However, being the great land that we are...we still have so many faults. I'm currently working in Hong Kong. And here, there are no gun shops. I feel safe. In Los Angeles, whenever I would hear a car back-fire, I would duck. Really. Gun shops in L.A. are like 7/11 stores. Just about on every corner. Here, no gun shops. Sure still crime, but for the most part, when you're walking down the street, you don't have to worry. My point is this: our country is the greatest, but still has so many faults. And being to a few different places, knowing of what foreigners think about the U.S. It has given me a different outlook. Made me more aware of my and my country's faults. That's all. I think that is what my previous post was trying to say. And, if you want to talk about unfair criticisms, I was here when <WE> the U.S.A. so-called accidentally bombed the Chinese Embassy during the Kosovo crap. I couldn't walk down the street without people glaring at me. I had to go to the U.S. Counselate at that time to renew my passport, and it was scary!! It's a good thing if people could be able to vier their own country from the outside in. Really gives one a different perspective. Don't knock it till you've tried it. I haven't been home for almost 8 years. So am still on the outside looking in. My summary? Every country is 50% good and 50% bad. The two traits that I previously mentioned, I hardly ever hear of over on this side of the world. One thing for sure and that is it's so very easy to find fault. Whoever and wherever you are.
Gravity....not just a good idea, it's the law! My Magic
