"IE 5.5 SP 2 Question"

I got Cable Internet hook up today. Wahooooo this baby is fast! Did a speed test and i'm getting T-1 speeds this afternoon. Anyway my question is after the service technician left, i noticed i can't change my homepage anymore. I'm logged under as Administrator (W2K) and still can't change it. Any clues? TIA.

If you use the Immunize functions in Spybot, one of the options is to lock your home page to prevent sites from hijacking it. That option can easily be turned on or off, and was probably the source of your problem.

Shelly, since this problem occurred right after the service technician installed my cable modem, I really did not think to look in Spybot under that feature you mentioned. However, when i go home tonight, i'll check it out - thx for that tidbit of info.
