Just received e-mail offer from ZoneLabs for ZoneAlarm Pro and PestControl combination. What experience has anyone had with these programs? Is the firewall included any better/different than the one built into an EtherFast Cable/DSL Router? Any advice/suggestions will be appreciated.

Zone Alarm Pro is a very good program. Forget Pest Patrol; you can get a free spyware removal program and there are better AT programs out there.

Your router firewall only stops incoming attacks, ZA will stop spyware on your computer from calling out.

I agree with everyone Zonealarm is the best thing going. Very easy to use and good interface. It even helped me track down a "Dirty" who kept trying to get into my pc. The whois search brought me a map right to his house and his email. No more unfriendly pings from him. Only problem I've heard is some with WinXP.
