You guys have been my go to for many years, So I have to ask. Is there a real Good fast browser out there? Chrome crashes constantly (updated, install, uninstalled, etc, Nothing changes. Ie is slightly better. I don't like Edge. Just got my De;; 5567 Back from dell ( the one with the startup issues). Seems a 6 mo. old PC needed a new MB, SSD, Power cord!It is fine but it just seems whatever I use for a browser is just not satisfactory! No malware, I use SAS paid, and Malewarebytes. I use Windows defender security suite for my Av ( yes I know there is a battle as to if it is or not an AV, But it works for me. So,,,, Suggestions??

I have started using Cent Browser and really like it.
There is a portable version if you want to try it.

Well, as every time I try to download it, from any browser it says 2 hours.... and takes forever to even load, I am not sure about that.

I see what you mean, I just tried it, same here.
I think it must be a temporary hitch, I hope so!
I can assure you I had no trouble when I initially downloaded it and of course the browser itself is great imho.

It must have been a temporary glitch. It just took me all of 10 seconds to download it.

Windows did throw up a warning window that the software is unknown when I started to install it. I allowed it to install, and made a few minor tweaks to the settings - it's not going to be my default browser, for example - and it installed smoothly.

I have no need for another browser so I will uninstall it. It seems very similar to another browser I downloaded awhile back named "Secure Browser" - not too imaginative a name. https://www.securebrowser.com/

Jim.

So who are they?
They also seem to be "https://www.safer.com/", but I'm unable to "connect" to them?

How do you download the browser (not that I actually want to)?
I'm seeing no "download" button?

There's a big orange button on the home page plus a link for the portable version.

EDIT:
Sorry therube, I thought you were replying to my post

Well, before I got to do anything, my newly fixed pc , returned by dell 12 days ago had a total meltdown. So , i finally reinstalled again, and for now I am Not touching anything, lol. So, I will use edge and be a happy camper as sometimes my "tweaking" gets me into trouble.

I just googled for a download location as I too see no link on the Secure Browser page I posted.

https://en.softonic.com/download/secure-browser/windows/post-download?sl=1#

I had to click on the "Click here" link as the download didn't start
automatically.

I'm not saying it's anything special - just that it seemed similar to the Cent browser.

Jim.
