I've been getting blue screens recently that have progressively gotten more frequent and now it can happen as soon as the computer boots into Windows. I haven't installed anything new in terms of software or updates. I decided I would try to reformat and install Windows again but it happens mid installation of the OS even after I've formatted the drive. I did notice that my hard drive had some bad sectors during a disk scan so I'm leaning towards the drive failing but I was wondering if the particular blue screen error in question offers any hint as to where the issue may lie so here it is in case anyone can help. Thanks
Most likely bad RAM or bad hard drive. It could also be bad video card as the message suggests. If this is home-built, make sure you are not overclocking the CPU.
You might give us some specifics about your hardware.
Behind every good computer... is a jumble of wires 'n stuff.
The reason why I didn't think it was ram related is because I tried swaping the existing ram with new ones and the issue remained. So it seems like it maybe the HD. Will check back with results.
