Norm, a long-time member of this forum, had many health problems in the past few years. He passed away on Saturday, at his home.

Norman Kushins lived in CT and was a good friend of mine. His cousin called me to tell me he had passed.

If you pray, send some prayers to his family.

I was also sad, but Norm was in pain and was ready to leave this earth many years ago.

Norm was a friend for many years, we never met face to face, but when I lived in Connecticut was within a few miles of his home. That was 25 years ago since I moved to Florida, and I spoke to Norm many times on the phone and in the various iterations of this forum..

He was a real gentleman, and a strong financial supporter of the forum over the years. He was well off and generous in his support. He even made a large donation to our last fund drive although he was in the hospital and in great pain. He knew it would be his last contribution. He will be missed, I will surely miss him, but at least his pain that he endured so bravely is now over.

I searched for Norm's post history and found where we both had participated on occasion. He contributed well and will be missed.

Hello, I am hoping you can help me. I believe that this is the same Norm that my father was very good friends with. My Dad has been increasingly worried about Norm an asked me to do a search online due to the fact he was having trouble reaching him.

Can someone point me in the direction of an obituary for this person so I can confirm that it is in fact the correct Norm. I believe it is.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. My father is very worried about his friend.

Norman Kushins died on Saturday July 13th. He had lived in Windsor, CT for as long as I can remember. If there is an obituary it would be in The Hartford Current newspaper in the days following the 13th.
