There is plenty of evidence, beyond what I have stated about Darwin, that shows that evolution has not happened. Science has yet to bring any conclusive evidence that evolution has happened. One of the big things people always point out that supports evolution is that different fossils are in different layers of the Earth, with the different layers laying down over huge stretches of time. Why then are there dinosaur fossils with human fossils, in the same layer, in Texas? Why is there a layer that contains nearly every type of animal fossil that ever existed? There are so many more examples pointed out here: http://www.creationscience.com/onlinebook/LifeSciences29.html

Just like climategate, science has gotten into a mode where if evidence points to a major theory being wrong (evolution, old earth, global warming, etc), they try to sweep it under the carpet and pretend it doesn't exist.

Do you know why people so readily believe in evolution or some other major science theory? Because they accept the superficial evidence presented to the people with the degrees, think that the detailed science behind it would take too much time to understand, and because of that don't take the time to study it out for themselves. I can't blame them because we are so ever busy in our lives.
