Latest Update Is Even Worse :( He Continously Had Problems With His Feeding Tube Just Pure Agony Everytime He Tried To Let Us Feed Him They Tried two types of tube feedings possible and nothing agreed with his body so he chose not to be tube fed anymore nor take anymore iv liquids bc they have such a hard time finding a vein they burnt almost all his veins out in his arms useing phenogan when he was so sick so therefore he doesnt want to get constantly poked anymore so he said he wanted to be kept comfortable and the hospice center is doing just that he said he is so tierd ....they gave him a couple weeks maybe more maybe less i dont know what to do im crushed but its his body and he knows whats best.We asked the docs if he will be inmore pain than he already is from no liquids or food and they said its actually the natural way to go.When you die of old age you get to where you dont want drink or food and your organs slowly shut down,which is what they say will happen to him.The hospice nurses let him know at anytime he can change his mind and they will start iv fluids and food up again.
