Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I had my first chemo today. They infused a bag of Zofran for nausea first, then the chemo drug itself (Methotrexate). It took about an hour. So far, I haven't experienced any side effects. I've drank about 7 bottles of water today.
Tomorrow, I will get the three remaining drugs from the "MVAC" cocktail (Vinblastine, Adriamycin and Cisplatin). That's the really "spicy" mixture and will take about six hours. They say I will be really weak and nauseous. I'm claiming I WONT be. We'll see. I skip a week after that, then start all over. I don't know how many cycles yet.
