Hi again:7 .
Im looking to upgrade the RAM in my laptop. At present i have 64mb but would like 128mb or above. Can i get RAM upgrade for a laptop easily? If so, is it easy to fit?
Can i get RAM upgrade that goes in my Network slots or alike so i dont have to open up my computer and so that i can transfer it between laptops as im due a new one in 3months and dont wanna be opening computers all the time!!!

Thanks again for any help.:D

It would help if you gave us some specifics regarding you laptop (brand, model, etc.). However, you should be able to add memory through an external slot. Look in your manual and scour the edges of the case for its location. Best bet, take your computer to a retail outlet that sells a lot of memory and let them stick it to you (I mean, install it for you. Sorry. They'll do it for free, or, should.).

My laptop is a Toshiba Satelite Pro 4200, 497MHz processor Pentium 2, 64MB RAM, running windows XP Pro with 2 expansion slots.
Thanks.
PS-would it be better to buy just a 64mb expansion or a 128 expansion? What are the limits on expanding ram(or how can i find them out for my comp)?

I think Crucial was mentioned just recently as being one of the best places on the web to shop. It's true, just use their online service to locate and buy memory for your laptop. It shouldn't be much of a chore. I believe most laptops have easily accessible memory slots. Looks like Crucial has a 128 meg stick for your laptop for $21.59. That would be in addition to the 64 meg that is in there, which is nonremovable according to Crucial. Good luck.
