I can't seem to install my Adaptec Easy CD Creator v.4 and DirectCD software for my new SONY 24x10x40x CRX175A1 CDR/W. Adaptec cannot detect the SONY as a burner only as a CD-ROM. However the software that came with the SONY (something called B's Recorder Gold) has got no problems detecting the SONY burner, I would prefer using the all familiar Adaptec if I could, rather than the "Recorder Gold" thingy.
Has SONY somehow blocked Adaptec's sotware from detecting their burners? Any help in getting Adaptec to work on the SONY CRX175A1 would be very much appreciated.
