I have two ENVY printers that started printing blank pages: a new 6400 series and a 7640 series. I've done all HP recommended solution attempts: Check for updated software, check for firmware updates, reinstall printers, Check the print cartridges, etc with no success. Anyone have any ideas or solutions??? Anyone know how I can contact a HP technical support engineer???

Seems strange that two printers would have the same problem at the same time. . There's a few Google troubleshooting topics that address this type of problem so search for HP 6400 printing Blank pages (or similar printers) having similar blank printing.
Have you changed anything recently such as installing new cartridges in both machines?

It's really strange but nothing I've tried so far works. I haven't changed the cartridges. I've implemented all of HP's suggestions. I thought maybe it was a Windows 10 problem because I can successfully print a test page from HPSmart and the fact that both printers were affected suddenly and so I uninstalled the latest Windows updates to no avail. I may be forced to buy another brand of printer to see what happens. Or maybe install Linux on one of my computers to see if it really is a Windows problem. Anyhow, you don't realize how much you need a printer until you don't have one. It seems that many people have had this kind of problem with Hp Printers so I'm hoping one of those people solved the problem and will get back to me. Thanks for your response.

So, if anyone else has this problem. which apparently HP can't solve, I found a workaround for text files. Printer works fine printing PDFs through HPSmart which will only print PDF files. So, I've been turning my text files into PDFs via Microsoft's "Print to PDF" and then printing through HPSmart. PDF files will not print directly. Not a great solution but good for emergencies or until I switch all my printers to another manufacturer.
