If it is "Winamp", or is it, like fake news, "winamp"?

Prior, "final" release was 5 years ago.
So why, all of a sudden, a resurrection?

The link to the Winamp forums is genuine. Not proof positive, but possibly a fair indication.

Just saw this mentioned on another forum they were discussing minor bugs in the beta so I'm assuming it's real.
