I have not been able to find the free version of Malwarebytes. Do they still offer it? A link would be appreciated. Also any other anti spyware suggestions would be helpful

I downloaded the link. It turned out to be a trial edition. I ran it and it found no infections. My wife is complaining of a great deal of advertisements. I had removed the history and cookies and still get the ads. Maybe I can talk her into leaving windows 10 for Ubuntu.

Yes..I believe you still get 30 days full blown version to try and then it turns to free if you don't pay.

Click on Settings, then the Account Details tab. Click the Disable Trial button. While you're in settings, go to the Protection tab and turn on Scan for Rootkits.

It used to be a super deal when you paid once for a lifetime version instead of yearly.

They are still honouring that lifetime free deal. I got mine two weeks before they switched.

SuperAntiSpyware free is worth having to control third party cookies.
