565070, Marcium Reflect Backup of Win 7

Have recently started using Marcium Reflect to backup Win 7 that is on Drive C. Backup process is fairly easy but I have a question on getting back into Windows 7 after backup completion . When the backup is finished, I click OK for reboot and computer reboots and starts loading the program to backup my drives. It does not boot into Win 7. When I backed up using Acronis TI and it was finished, on reboot it would give me the option to boot into Win 7 and if I did not pick and option, it would automatically boot into Win 7. How do I get Marcium to do this?

I must be misunderstanding what you are doing.
Why are you doing a reboot?
When a backup has finished just exit Reflect and that's it, you never come out of Windows.

EDIT:
I always do a complete image backup so perhaps you are just doing Windows which may work differently.
Although I can't think why it should do.

Thanks for your reply. I click the X at the top right of the screen when finished backing up, then the computer reboots and reruns the program again. Right now when I click the X and when it starts rebooting, I just press the eject button on my cd so I don't have the program running again.

Thanki for your reply, I am using a boot disk to back up the C drive. Do you run the program from C drive when backing up the C drive?

You only need to use the boot recovery disc when you want to restore your system after a problem.
If backing up just start Reflect like any other program, do the backup, then close reflect.

Yes, close Reflect when you're done. Your backup is finished.

Thanks for your info. I ran the Marcium program to backup my C Drive like you suggested and closed it at the end of the backup. In the future I will only use the boot disk if I have to reload a drive for some reason.

Just one more thing! :--)
I always create two recovery discs (in case one has a problem) whenever there is a new version or update of Reflect.
Then to test them I just boot the system with each one before booting Windows the normal way.
