Am I the only person unhappy with changes made to gmail?

What are the changes?

I only receive Gmail so I don't remember being aware of changes.

I asked also, & my sister-in-law (who uses Gmail) wasn't aware of any changes?

Make sure it's not you, something on your end.
In my case, Yahoo webmail stopped working.
I must have been testing something somewhere along the line, & changed my (browser) useragent setting (set it to "" actually), & when Yahoo saw that, it farted, not allowing me into my mail. Until I figured it out...

I use Gmail directly on my cell phones, but only have it feeding into Outlook on my computers. With that in mind, I honestly cannot think of any significant change to Gmail in ages. I can't remember the last time I actually logged into Gmail directly on a computer, but it must be several years.

If you are talking about the categories you can change that. https://socialtriggers.com/new-gmail-changes/ They have been in place for a long time. Policy changes, there may be some way around them but you would have to look that up.

I'm guessing you meant this post to go to the OP, not me.

Someone asked this question recently at Newworldtech (successor to Worldstart) Turns out the changes they were referring to occurred in mid-2013.
