564696, Display problem after W10 Creators update

Hey guys,

My old homebuilt has shown its age after the Creators update.
I am guessing I will need a graphics card to replace the onboard ATI Radeon HD 4200?

The display is flattened and lengthened to the point of being barely usable. Not responding to settings.

I wonder if you could suggest a reasonable product for me keeping in mind the age of both the PC and me.
MB is ASUS-Mod-M4A785TD-V EVO.
I just watch a little You Tube, browse a little and store photos off my phone. Appreciate your help, thanks.

Have you considered rolling back the Creators Edition? How to rollback & uninstall Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

If successful, you and your "old computer" might still have many happy years together working just the way it did before you updated.

Jim.

Thank you for the suggestion Jim.

I tried that but on the updates page were a list of about 4 rollback options that were no longer available for me to do.
The option was there but part of it was greyed out and not doable.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I went ahead and ordered this from Newegg.

EVGA GeForce GT 710 DirectX 12 01G-P3-3711-KR 1GB 64-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card
$64.99
Hopefully it will do the trick.

Thanks Fred

"EVGA GeForce GT 710 DirectX 12 01G-P3-3711-KR 1GB 64-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card"

That's an awfully long description. Seems too long to fit in the slot.

Thanks Fred...that's the way my mind works. My wife thinks I'm nuts...she's right.
