I always use Custom; (obviously I have Automatic Updates turned off) and so far have not installed the WGA tool. As Shelly said, I may need to. I don't install updates that don't apply, e.g.,there is one concerning the Windows firewall. I have WF turned off, so I see no reason to install the update. Another refers to a problem with certain antivirus software. I haven't had the problem so have not installed the update, and so on. I also try to check the posts here before I install updates.:7
