yes, there are two "themes" at BBT. One is white text on blue, the other is black text on light gray. I think you have to register before you can change that option, however. ;)

i see nothing wrong over there but it is just about like a copy of this one only smaller. no since and confusing the two though but joining up will help alex i think that way there are a couple of places to get reviews posted. and all the heavy weight on one fourm can be spread over two.

Many people received that letter. All posts regarding it were deleted off of the forum. It's spam mail, and most of us don't post spam on public forums.

When I said "we still have time before the sky falls" I meant it as a metaphor, you know when the forum shuts down. That's what it feels like to me. I did not notice that I made joke until I previewed my post.

I think BBT is the last place on my list to go to. I think they have more forums than users.

Anandtech and HFT seemed tolerable. But I really don't have the time right now to check into anywhere that close.

Unless someone comes up with a good place or makes one, I may just stick to a couple of OT gamer's forums that friend's have set up. There seem to be a few techies there that know their stuff.

It was minutes. You had to give them a valid email address. Maybe you didn't type it correctly??

Do you know how I can correct this? Sometimes I'll hit the n instead
of the m when I type my Email, usually I double check.

From the years that I have been getting info to the months I registered, there is no other place I have found. I will not goto any forum after this one has been beheaded. I shall just do my own thing once again. As a former sniper I am used to being on my own.

It is too bad but all things must end. I finished my modded case with a clear resin skull cut into the front and glowing neon behind it. A window in the side which I burned into the plexi another skull. And a chrome skull power button. All done in metallic blue. Got it complete on Sunday. it just is not worth the effort to get the pics down below 50k in size.

It would appear I am just showing off anyway. :o) If anybody is interested in the pics. I can email them to you. And I do not save address books. But interest may be lacking anyway.

I am now playing around with notebooks. It lets me realize that even though my eyes are good, I can still use the desk magnifier now and then.

To all who are concerned with the complexity of BBF/BBT:

I was very overwhelmed as much of you are at the setup over at Bitbender. Once I began checking out the forums on a daily basis, I learned really fast how everything was set up. Bits and staff have done an excellent job of separating all the subforums from the Main Forums. Just a few days is all it will take if you just give it a chance. I'll admit that the set up is entirely new and different from PC911, but I can navigate there with the best of them after less than a week.

Hope to see many of you over there. Many have already joined and all are welcome. I'm not trying to twist anyone's arm, just throwing out my $.02.

No thanks. I've tried and tried to get BB figured out, each time it gave me the same headache I got while reformatting this weekend, only worse. A message board is not supposed to cause stress like that.

The Lady is Bits' wife, no doubt trying to help process all this stuff. Don't hesitate to e-mail them again.

No problems registering, no problems with the two Emails, no problem with logging - on and, dare I say it, no problems with posting.

In short, NO PROBLEMO!!!

Colors,well.....each to their own, although you can make some mods.

Their server seems a bit slow, compared with PC911, but that could just be my browser.

Anyway, I'm very happy with what I've seen so far at BBT.

If it's good enough for Marti and good enough for Grogan, it sure as hell is more than good enough for the likes of me!:7 :7
