ASI will do line test on your line if your modem is not syncing with your line.
ASI did numerous line test when I was hounding them to uncap my line. They even checked my line in the field for bridges and load coils (which i am not for sure what they are). Always with the same results that my line would not support speed over 384,000 kbps. :-( So I am stuck with that until RR cable becomes available.
I tested my line at Speakeasy and results are consistent with Dsl reports speed test.(313 & 303 download and 100 & 103 upload). You both have great speeds compared to mine.
Marti, hope ASI fixed your problems today without capping your line speed lower than you are getting now. Beware they will cap it if that is what it takes to keep you from having connection problems or losing line sync.
