I did a quick look and did not see any leaking capacitors. I will take a better look later with a strong light.
My problem is that I do not have replacement parts to try out.
Since the computer is six years old, it may not pay to buy parts to try out. It might serve me better to either build or buy a new computer.

If I bought a volt meter would I be able to test the PS, or would it have to be tested under load?
